Building a PC

In recent times, I have found a new love for computers both in coding and the engineering that goes into making the parts that amalgamate into a computer. So I decided to do the research and use the knowledge from the computer engineering class that I took in grade eleven, to order the parts needed and assemble a PC. Below are the specifications used to build my PC.

Specifications:
- AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
- AMD Prism Wraith
- MSI B450 Gaming Plus Motherboard
- Team T-Force Delta RGB 16GB DDR4-3000 Memory
- ADATA Ultimate SU800 1TB
- NVIDIA GTX 1070
- Corsair CX 550W 80+ Bronze ATX Power Supply
- Corsair Carbide 175R ATX Mid Tower Case

PROJECTS

Writing a Marching snare solo

Through the Royal Canadian Air Cadet Program, I had found a passion for music, specifically through the instrument of the marching snare. The cadet program even allowed me to go to Blackdown Cadet Training Centre both as a course cadet and as a staff member to learn and teach music to younger cadets for six weeks. In this time I had the pleasure of working with percussion instructors such as Mr. Corey Pearce and Major McCue. I then transferred my skills that I had learned and perfected at this training centre and utilized it in my schoolwork. In this personally written snare solo, entitled Zac Attack, I use my knowledge of marching snare music and of music in general to create this piece that was played as an assignment for my grade eleven music class.

coding IN JAVA
For the past two years of my education at Chaminade College School, I have taken a computer science course through which I have studied the structure and functioning of both computer hardware and software. The course material has taught me to code in VB and in Java. From this knowledge I have come to appreciate the power it wields and it has sparked my interest in the field of computer science. In my future I hope that I will be able to study computer science at the University of Toronto. To the right, you will find some of my coding projects in Java.
