VOLUNTEERING

In my high school years, I have had the opportunity to volunteer my time in the Air Cadet Program at the 180 Mosquito Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron in Toronto, Ontario. I have volunteered my time both in the program as an air cadet and also as a Non-Commissioned Officer totaling to an amount of 1500+ hrs within the squadron. As a Warrant Officer First Class, I am responsible for the complete operation of the entire squadron from recruit training all the way through the chain to dealing with the Commanding Officer and parents of the cadets. Through this program and through the experiences that 180 has given me, I have learned and different skills, organization, how to be a leader, and most importantly, commitment. My time at 180 has been filled with new friendships, leadership^opportunities, and the experiences of a lifetime. I have worked nonstop in this program from my swearing in to each promotion that I have worked so hard for and now fulfilling the position of Squadron Chief Warrant Officer. I will be forever grateful for the six years that I have spent in this program and look forward to applying these learned skills in my future endeavors.
